Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on November 22nd, 1985 in New York City New York) has received acclaim for her ability to act across different various genres from historical dramas, thrillers and action-packed films. Johansson was the daughter of filmmaker and architect was raised in New York City. Hunter, her twin, as well as Johansson, were the smallest of the four children. When she was a child she began to develop an enthusiasm to act and started auditioning commercials as young as 7. She was as a youngster intrigued by acting. Smith's parents helped her with having her first performance when she was six. She was part of the Dannon TV commercial. She decided, like many actresses who are just starting out, to refine her abilities in the theatre. She would work in different USA productions while getting her stage debut with Wildflower. She was a student at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory part of the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts'.
