Nancy Kovack played Medea the epic fantasy/action movie Jason and the Argonauts. Her character was memorable to guys in my age group. Oddly, her screen time is more limited than the one we have in mind today from this production, however everyone knows the fact that her dance routine was a major highlight. To top it all, it has been reported that her singing voice was overdubbed by the soon-to-be Bondgirl Honor Blackman. Perhaps to give her the more sophisticated British accent? I adore these vintage films where everybody talks Shakespearian... But regardless, Nancy Kovack was instantly famous on film and TV screens, mostly because of her amazing cheekbones, and the flamboyant eye. It's hard to believe Nancy Kovack had no problem sharing the screen with Tarzan. Batman. The Three Stooges. Vincent Price. Dean Martin. Captain Kirk. What is it that was what made Nancy Kovack so special? Her characters' solid determination? Her fabulous body? There's a reason why Nancy confessed in never wanting to be a major film star. She preferred smaller role. But Nancy's 15-year long career is full of surprises.
